Easton, Maryland

Only 10 miles from Oxford, be sure to visit the town of Easton. Known as the ‘Colonial Capitol of Maryland’s Eastern Shore,’ it has evolved into Talbot County’s “big city”. Its four-block shopping district borders the historic residential area, a mosaic of Colonial and Federal homes, ornate Victorians, and 1920 bungalows. Downtown you will find boutiques, boutiques, home décor shops, art galleries, antique stores, and a City Market. After a taste of culture?

St. Michael’s Maryland

Latitude 38 Bistro

A spectacular bistro, very well-known to the locals as well as the tourists.  Situated at the entrance of the quaint town is a dining experience no one should miss!  The dinner menu, which changes every two weeks, features the finest cuts of beef, pork, lamb, chicken, fresh local seafood and produce all served in full and half entrée options. Grab The Ferry…

Americas oldest privately owned ferry route!

All vehicles are served on a first-come, first-served basis. The Oxford Bellevue Ferry travels across the Tred Avon River on Maryland’s Eastern Shore many times a day.

Be sure to stop by the Oxford Community Center from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. the first Saturday of the month (from April – November) to view some of the eastern shores most pristine, vintage cars. Cars and coffee in Oxford, Maryland is free, monthly, weather dependent event.
